Corsair by GWS
Plane has not been flown as of July
10, 2005
Plane flown successfully as of July
26. 5 take offs and 5 landings. Three of those landings in the asphalt
runway (not in grass).
Flaperons work great. They slow the
plane down for easy landings. A real fun plane to fly. The first two
flights were a bit stressing.

Other flights (August 6, 2005):
I finally joined the RC Club at
Merced. I took the plane to the field. Three take offs, one average
landing, and two terrible landings. The pressure from other pilots
(judges) was strong. I stalled the plane at 3 feet and landed rough. I
must add that the flaps are not that good for landing. It is difficult to
keep the plane steady. The wind after 12 O'clock (more than 5MPH) makes
the plane extremely jittery and difficult to keep on an straight path. The
plane is extremely sensitive to the warmth from the runway as compared to
the coolness of the grass. It bounces up and down.
